The Earnware Services Platform SOAP API allows partners to leverage our technical infrastructure to build highly customized products in a fraction of the time it would take to build a solution from scratch. We chose SOAP as a public API because it is platform independent, can be secured using SSL and uses HTTP(s) which leverages the existing Internet infrastructure. In recent years, Web Services have become the obvious choice and are clearly a natural fit for the Earnware Services Platform.

A great deal of engineering went into the design of the Service Platform security system. This highly secure authentication infrastructure can be leveraged through the SOAP API for integration with third party password-protected intranets. Whether Earnware does the authentication or it’s done by a trusted third party with proper credentials, integration is simple. This API allows partners to integrate the Business Center with existing intranets and offer the end user one-click log-in.
